It influences not only the visual appearance of products, but also their functionality, sustainability, production processes, and overall business strategy. This was the central theme of the successful 4th edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.czechtrade.cz\/kalendar-akci\/design-pro-business-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Design for Business<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>conference, held on May 13, 2025, at the Academy of Arts, Architecture &amp; Design in Prague (UMPRUM), organized by <strong>CzechTrade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Together with our client <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mzliberec.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MZ Liberec<\/strong><\/a>, we presented a&nbsp;premiere case study titled <strong>\u201cDesign as a&nbsp;Gateway to a&nbsp;New Market.\u201d<\/strong> The study revealed a&nbsp;project focused on the complete transformation of the product portfolio and corporate identity of a&nbsp;manufacturing company from the Podkrkono\u0161\u00ed region. The story\u2014full of both courage and challenges\u2014was told from the designer&#8217;s&nbsp;perspective by <strong>Prof. Doc. M.A. Ivan Dlaba\u010d<\/strong> (Chief Designer, Divan Design) and <strong>Tom \u0160indel\u00e1\u0159<\/strong> (Designer, Divan Design), and from the business perspective by <strong>Marek Mat\u011bj\u00e1k<\/strong> (CEO, MZ Liberec) and <strong>Jan \u0160eberka<\/strong> (Project Manager, MZ Liberec).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to our presentation, the conference featured designers and business owners from companies such as \u0160koda Transportation, Bomma, R\u00fcckl, Todus, Ravak, and others.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation, the attendees for their strong participation, and everyone for the positive feedback.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Design is increasingly becoming a&nbsp;key driver of business success in global markets.
