Two products developed in close collaboration \u2013 the <strong>Vega<\/strong> bed head unit and the <strong>Taurus<\/strong> ceiling pendant \u2013 have been awarded the <strong>Red Dot Award 2026<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s most prestigious design competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The official award ceremony took place in Essen, Germany, bringing together designers, manufacturers, and innovators from around the globe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Receiving two Red Dot Awards within a&nbsp;short period of time confirms that high-quality industrial design is not the result of a&nbsp;single creative moment, but of a&nbsp;long-term, systematic development process. Both Vega and Taurus were created through close cooperation between the MZ Liberec development team and Divan Design, with the aim of delivering solutions that meet the highest standards in technical performance, usability, and visual quality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the design process, we focused strongly on functionality, modularity, ergonomics, ease of maintenance, and a&nbsp;clean visual expression. In healthcare environments, design goes far beyond aesthetics \u2013 it directly influences daily workflows of medical staff, patient comfort, safety, and the long-term value of the product.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Divan Design, the Red Dot Award represents further confirmation that strategic industrial design is a&nbsp;key driver of competitiveness for manufacturers on global markets. At the same time, it is a&nbsp;recognition of the long-term trust placed in us by MZ Liberec throughout the development process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We would like to thank the entire MZ Liberec team for their partnership and all colleagues involved in the development of the awarded products.
